Meet the “Two”

Two Happy is a family-run program inspired by my twin brothers, Edin and Haris

Before they were born, many doctors warned our parents that the twins would negatively impact their four “healthy” children at home. They couldn’t have been more wrong. Edin and Haris have been the best thing to happen to our family and the heart behind everything I do.

When I became the Director of NVSA, it was really important for me to create a community for Edin and Haris. In 2019, I started a free weekly fitness session for individuals with special needs. Over the years our group has grown into a family and I am so proud of what it has become.

Now that Edin and Haris are post-21 and navigating adulthood, we have expanded our program to focus on wellness, healthy habits, independence, and life skills. We’re now DDD-approved and so excited to serve even more members of our community.

Two Much Love,

About The Staff

Two Happy is a family owned and operated program.

Samira Sujak, Program Director, created the program alongside her family after seeing a need for post-21 opportunities that focus on wellness, inclusion, and healthy living. As a sibling to Edin and Haris, Samira brings personal passion and insight to the program. She has served as Director of NVSA since 2019 and has an extensive background in athletics and wellness as a former Division I athlete at Lafayette College.

Crystal Sujak, Co-Director, works directly with participants each day. As a parent of adults with special needs, she is committed to creating a strong community for both the participants and their families.

Nina Peretto, Program Leader, has worked at NVSA for the past two years and brings her creativity and compassion to the program. As a sibling to twin sisters with Autism, Nina has a understanding of the special needs community. She helps plan program activities and supports participants in daily routines.

Max Gentile, NVSA’s Assistant Director, has been part of NVSA for over three and a half years and volunteers with the original Two Happy Class. Max will play an active role in the Two Happy Program leading adaptive fitness and wellness classes throughout the week.

Samira and Crystal will both work directly with participants and make sure every staff member is someone they’d trust with their own family (after all, Edin and Haris are part of the program)!
