About Us
Two Happy is a family run inclusive wellness community operated by Northern Valley Sports Academy, our family’s activity center that has been serving the community in Closter since 2016. My mom and I created this program inspired by my twin brothers, Edin and Haris, who have Down syndrome. As they entered adulthood, we were looking for programs that truly prioritized well rounded living, but we couldn’t find the right fit.
In 2019, we started a free weekly fitness class inspired by my brothers, centered around inclusive and adaptive fitness. It brought together people of all abilities and quickly grew into a true community. Two Happy is an extension of that community we’ve built over the years.
Our programming focuses on four core pillars: mental health, physical health, life skills, and community, through structured classes, inclusive fitness, community experiences, and creative expression. In addition to private pay, we accept DDD and Self Direction for a variety of our programs. We are so excited to continue growing and welcoming new members into our community!

About The Staff
Two Happy is a family owned and operated inclusive wellness community for individuals of all abilities with programs designed for participants of varying abilities to be together.
Samira Sujak, Program Director, created the program alongside her family after seeing a need for inclusive wellness opportunities. As a sibling to Edin and Haris, Samira brings personal passion and insight to the program. She has served as Director of NVSA since 2019 and has an extensive background in athletics and wellness as a former Division I athlete at Lafayette College.
Crystal Sujak, Co-Director, works directly with participants each day. As a parent of adults with Down syndrome, she is committed to creating a strong community for both the participants and their families.
Nina Peretto, Program Leader, has worked at NVSA for the past two years and brings her creativity and compassion to the program. As a sibling to twin sisters with Autism, Nina has a understanding of the the community. She helps plan program activities and supports participants in daily routines.
Max Gentile, NVSA’s Assistant Director, has been part of NVSA for over three and a half years and volunteers with the original Two Happy Class. Max will play an active role in the Two Happy Program leading inclusive fitness and wellness classes throughout the week.
Samira and Crystal will both work directly with participants and make sure every staff member is someone they’d trust with their own family (after all, Edin and Haris are part of the program)!
