Are lunch & snack included?
Yes! Lunch and morning snack are included! Lunch is catered from Giovanni’s Bicycle Club in Englewood Cliffs.
What is a typical day like?
NVSA is a 20,000 square foot climate-controlled facility featuring a state of the art turf field, basketball court, indoor playground, & art room. NVSA’s school break camps are action-packed with sports activities, traditional camp games, special events, art projects and so much more!
How old are NVSA campers?
Our campers range in age from 3-12 years old. Campers are grouped by age and are assigned counselors that travel with their group throughout the day as they move through the different camp stations.
What does my child need to wear & bring to camp?
Campers should wear athletic clothing. Campers under the age of 6 are required to bring a change of clothes.
Can I register for just 1 or 2 days of camp?
Yes, single-day registrations are accepted! Once the item (the camp you’re interested in) is added to your cart, you will be able to select the specific days at checkout by unselecting “ALL DAYS” and choosing the ones you want to attend.
Who are the counselors?
Our camp staff is made up of teachers, coaches, college students, and a handful of high school students. All staff undergo a mandatory background check. Our camp operates at an 8:1 (camper:counselor) ratio. There are always at least 2 staff members on-premises daily that are CPR/AED trained as well as Epi-Pen trained.
Can I tour the facility?
Absolutely! Facility tours can be scheduled upon request. Please email NVSA@NVSACLOSTER.COM to schedule your tour.
What is the drop off/pick up procedure?
- Drop-off will begin at 8:45am and pick up will begin at 2:45pm.
- Drop off and pick up will be done in our carpool line which forms in our parking lot.
- Please enter the parking lot through HOMANS AVE and exit onto OAKLAND AVE.
- Do not make a left turn when exiting the facility during the carpool line.
- Parents/Caregivers, DO NOT LEAVE your vehicles & please pull up as close to the car in front of you as possible. If you need to walk your child in, please park in our parking lot across the street. Parents will not be able to exit the car in our carpool line.
- If you are dropping off your child later than the scheduled drop-off time or earlier than the scheduled pick-up time, please make us aware so we can arrange for an NVSA staff member to meet your child in the parking lot.
What if my child has an Epi-Pen?
If you child requires an Epi-Pen, please bring it along with a note from the doctor stating that it is prescribed to them. We have staff on premises who are trained to use Epi-Pens.

You can register for camp at the last minute, provided there is still availability. However, please be aware that camp prices will increase by $15 per day one week before the camp begins. No exceptions will be made, so be sure to register early!
We are able to create School Break Camps with at least 8 kids. If your children will be off for any days from school that don’t match up with our current school break camp schedule and you’re interested in starting something, please let us know!
